Circuito Internazionale di Busca

The Circuito Internazionale di Busca sits on Via San Benigno in Busca, province of Cuneo, and is run under the name Kart Planet. The operator gives the lap length as 1602 metres; for supermoto a 245-metre off-road section is added on top. The track is between ten and eleven metres wide and has 16 corners, seven right and nine left. According to the operator the asphalt was completely resurfaced over its full length in April 2017. Two longer straights structure the lap, roughly 180 metres on the pit side and roughly 200 metres towards the railway line, with slow corners alternating with faster sweepers and chicanes in between. Over a lap this short with that many corners you are almost constantly changing direction, and every bit of grip comes from the asphalt: there is no soft surface to forgive a late turn-in. When the bike refuses to hold the tight line and carries wide, top of our cause list is too little rear ride height, which makes the steering lazy. Raising the rear, or dropping the front, sharpens turn-in.
