Circuit de Calafat

Circuit de Calafat lies in the province of Tarragona between Barcelona and Valencia and is a private facility that says it has been running for close to 50 years. The speed track measures 3,250 metres, is ten metres wide and consists of nine right-handers and seven left-handers plus a 600-metre straight; several layout variants can be run. The site also holds a permanent rallycross course mixing asphalt and loose surface, which the operator calls the only one of its kind in Spain, and a 700-metre kart track between seven and ten metres wide. On offer are track days for cars and motorcycles, safety and race training, race team support and off-road activities, with accommodation directly at the circuit. The operator does not publish prices and instead refers to competitive and dynamic rates. Sixteen corners in just over three kilometres at only ten metres of track width means short sections, little room to sort yourself out and exactly one long straight where you can breathe. Riding here for the first time, you usually lose time not on track but in the organisation around it. So ask the operator directly about availability and the rate for your group before you travel, rather than waiting for a price list online.
