Ceriano Laghetto il Vallone

The Crossodromo Il Vallone sits at Ceriano Laghetto north-west of Milan and is run by the A.S.D. New Mac motoclub. The track directory mxcenter.it lists it at 1,860 metres, on an earth surface, homologated in category 1 by the FMI, UISP and ASI. The same listing gives opening hours of 9:30 to 18:00 every day and explicitly advises calling the operator before you set off, because times can change at short notice. On site there is a bar, hot and cold showers and 220 volt hook-ups; there is no floodlighting. A minicross area exists: in 2023, according to Il Notiziario, Ceriano was one of four tracks in Italy used by the FMI for its "Sali in moto con noi!" project, free taster sessions for children aged six to nine. No fees are publicly documented. Our record marks the layout as jump-heavy and technical, and that sets the rhythm: short turns, then take-off faces again, with the rear picking up an impulse on every launch that can build over a lap. If the bike kicks off the face instead of leaving it cleanly, top of our cause list is rebound - it returns too fast and throws the rear off the ramp. Slow it down by winding a few clicks back in.
