Calvari - Roberto Parodi

The venue is listed in the track directory mxcenter.it under its full name Calvari - Roberto Parodi - Camporotondo and is run by MotoClub Calvari in the Calvari district of San Colombano Certenoli in the province of Genoa. The circuit measures 1,300 metres on dirt and holds a category 3 homologation through FMI, UISP and AICS. Practice runs Wednesday from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Saturday from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm and Sunday from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm; in winter weekend riding already ends at 5:00 pm, and around public holidays you should check first. There is a bar, hot and cold showers and a minicross area, but no 220 volt outlets and no floodlights. Access is via the SP 225 through the Val Fontanabuona after leaving the A12 at Chiavari or Lavagna. Our record holds a technical and tight character for it, which fits a venue tucked into a Ligurian side valley with little width to spare. In sections like that you spend a lot of time low in the rev range, and that is exactly where the engine likes to die. If stalling is your main problem here, our most common cause is a dragging clutch or a flywheel that is too light: a properly adjusted clutch or a flywheel weight keeps the engine alive down low.
