Behind the stadium in Ziębice sits a track that started from nothing. Ziębicki Klub Motocrossowy "Orion", founded in 2010 and about ten enthusiasts strong at the time, leased the ground from the municipality for seven years free of charge and laid the course out to the Polish motorsport federation's guidelines: 17 turns and 11 jumps were planned, and by the summer of 2014 eight turns and four jumps were in the ground. A small track for children learning to ride a bike or a quad was part of the plan from the start. The European track directory records the ground as hard and the site at 220 metres. 17 turns on a course this size mean one thing above all: you spend more time turning in than opening the throttle. Anyone grinding away at the jumps here is working on the wrong thing - the lap is made in the corners between them. On hard ground the problem most likely to find you is this: the front feels vague and finds no grip. Top of our cause list is too much front tyre pressure - drop it and more tyre sits on the ground.
