Motocross in Grodków is a comeback: after a sixteen-year gap, riding is back on ulica Traugutta beside the railway - the same ground where the country's best riders lined up in the eighties and nineties. Auto-Moto Klub Grodków runs the venue and organises the race days; practice starts early in the morning, the main heats from noon. The Moto Flow riding school uses Grodków, alongside Borów, as a fixed venue for its group sessions. The European track directory records hard ground and puts the site at 171 metres. Hard, fast ground does not forgive imprecision with grip - it does not forgive it at all. Work on your braking points here: on hardpack, where you settle the bike decides more about corner speed than anything you do with the throttle afterwards. What goes wrong most often in fast sweepers: the bike turns vague and restless. First item on our list is the sag and ride-height balance - set sag properly before you touch a damping clicker.
