WW Motocross Park at WW Ranch lies on Otis Road in west Jacksonville, Florida, near Baldwin. Its race history is short but dense: in 2017 the venue hosted the final round of the FIM MXGP season, and on June 22, 2019 the inaugural Florida National followed as round five of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship - the first round of that series in Florida since 1997. Broadcaster WJCT reported on it beforehand and quotes the series management saying the venue received strong feedback from both US and European riders after the MXGP weekend. The state and Pro-Am series Fastest in Florida also runs here. The track directory MXcircuit lists a fee of $30 as well as restrooms and a bar on site; it lists no timing system and no wash area. Fixed practice times are not publicly documented, and a phone number is given for enquiries. Our record lists sand with jumps and fast sections, the kind typical of north Florida. Deep sand takes the authority away from the rear: the rear wheel works constantly against ground that gives way, and a shock that returns too quickly starts to pogo. Top of our cause list when the rear pogos and begins to swim in sand is exactly that - rebound that is too fast at the rear. Slow it a few clicks before you change anything else.
