This off-road facility lies in Kawagoe, Saitama Prefecture, at the address Nakaoibukuro 295-5 and is operated by Uzushio Racing, trading as West Point, whose office sits at Imanari 4-12-13. The operator lists two courses: the A course with 6,000 tsubo and the B course with 10,000 tsubo of area. Opening hours are 9:00 to 16:00 daily with a lunch break from 12:00 to 13:00, and riding runs all year except on race days and during flooding or heavy rain; registration is at the course office or at the club house depending on the day of the week. Free riding costs 4,200 yen per person per day, 3,200 yen for women and for children of elementary school age and under, and 20,000 yen for manufacturer and company testing. Bike and gear rental, a wash-down facility and hire of the grounds for events are all offered. The city of Kawagoe describes the layout as a full-scale motocross course with many large jump faces and a long straight where speed builds, names a former All Japan Motocross Championship winner as the owner and lists the venue as a round of that championship; parking and toilets are on site. Many big jumps on a small footprint - our record holds roughly 800 metres of length on firm ground - mean you land often, you land hard, and the ground gives little back. If the suspension bottoms on those landings, top of our cause list is rear high-speed compression that is too soft - add some so the shock controls the hit instead of going to the stop.
