Motopark Piacenza sits at Viale dell'Agricoltura 6 in Piacenza and, according to the city portal Visit Piacenza, covers 60,000 square metres. The site holds several separate areas: the motocross circuit at 1700 metres long with an average width of 8 metres and 20 jumps of varying height and difficulty, an enduro course with two zones, 4 metres of elevation change and artificial obstacles built from tyres, rocks and logs, a trial loop, plus a dedicated children's area and a paddock. It is closed on Monday, Wednesday and Friday; on weekdays riding runs between 13:00 and 19:00, on Saturday and Sunday between 9:00 and 18:00. Day admission is 20 euros, and training for individuals, teams or clubs can be booked. The park is affiliated with FMI and UISP. On site there is a bar, cold and hot showers and 220 V outlets, but no floodlighting. 20 jumps on a 1700 metre lap means one thing above all: you land often, and every landing goes into the rear first. If the suspension bottoms out on those landings, top of our cause list is rear high-speed compression that is too soft - it passes the hard, fast hit of the landing straight through instead of catching it. Add a little before you take on the bigger jumps.
