The site at Plate on Friedrich-Wehmer-Strasse is listed today as MX Park Plate. The track directory mxmap.de gives sand as the surface and describes three areas: a main track, a children's track and an enduro course. No fixed opening hours are stored there - the operator announces riding days one at a time, most recently a day from 9:00 to 16:00 on which guided training was also offered from 10:00 to 16:00. Contact runs through phone and email, and there is an own shop with track clothing. The Motodrom page we have on file currently carries nothing but a note that a new homepage is being built, so fees and lap length are not publicly documented. Sand asks for throttle and body work: the rear wheel digs in, the bike only carries speed while you drive it, and in the deep sections the rear starts to build up a rocking motion. If it pogos and begins to genuinely swim, the most common cause on our list is rebound that is too fast for sand. Take a few clicks out at the rear so it returns more slowly through the stroke and settles.
