MCC Geldermalsen rides at Meersteeg 13 in Geldermalsen; for navigation MX Baan Info gives Meersteeg 15. The main track is listed there at 1,850 metres and includes jumps, tables, bermed corners and a pit feature. Alongside it sits a small youth track for the youngest riders and beginners up to 85cc. The directory Crossbanen Nederland gives opening hours of Wednesday 15:00 to 19:00 and Saturday 13:00 to 17:00, with the track closed on the other days, and it points out explicitly that these hours can change with the weather. The same directory lists day passes at 12.50 euro for the youth track, 15 euro for the main circuit, 17.50 euro for quads and 20 euro for sidecars, plus toilets, a canteen, showers and a wash area. At the March start of the season the club initially admits members only, with advance registration through its own site. The track lives off its jumps and tables, and that is exactly where an afternoon is won or lost: if the rear comes up off the face, you lose control of the bike's attitude in the air. Top of our cause list for that is a rear rebound that returns too fast and effectively launches the rear off the lip. Slow it down, that is fewer clicks out, before you take on the bigger jumps.
