The La Bosse-de-Bretagne venue south of Rennes lies at La Gressiere between La Roulais and La Devalerais and is run by the moto club of the same name; the track directory mxcircuit.fr names a Mr Loisel as president. There are two courses: the MX track at 1,300 metres long and 8 metres wide in dirt, and next to it a supercross track of 450 metres by 6 metres in dirt and sand. FMX is listed alongside MX and SX, and motorcycles and quads are permitted. Opening is Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 2 pm to 6 pm, and from October to the end of March on Sundays in the same window. A day costs 10 euros, club members pay 60 euros a year. FFM and UFOLEP licences are required. Our record classes the track as technical, and the supercross course at just 450 metres puts you in short gears and low revs anyway. If the engine stalls in the tight sections, the usual cause on our list is a dragging clutch or a flywheel that is too light - a flywheel weight or a properly set clutch takes the low-rpm stalling out.
