KC Moto sits at 4353 NW State Hwy FF in Adrian, western Missouri. Motocross Track Guide describes a motocross track 2 1/2 miles long, built 30 to 40 feet wide at every point, with a national-style 42-man starting gate. For obstacles the source lists a 115-foot table top, a 100-yard roller section, step ups, doubles and a 155-foot quad. It gives the surface as Missouri black dirt stabilised with sawdust and refreshed before each event. Riding is not continuous but limited to events and ride days; entry is 30 dollars, and both practice and racing are permitted. Alongside the main track there are trails and a peewee course. A wide, long track with a table top, doubles and a long quad means one thing above all: face after face in quick succession, and every one of them punishes an unsettled rear. Top of our cause list for a rear that bucks off the face is rebound returning too fast - slow it down, that is fewer clicks out, so the rear stops kicking up as you leave the lip.
