Haderslev Motorsport runs the facility at Skovbyringen 2 in 6500 Vojens. The club states its own hours: in summer Tuesdays from 16:00 to 20:00 and Saturdays from 10:00 to 15:00, in winter Saturdays from 10:00 to 15:00 only. Crossbladet visited a Saturday training session in July 2023 and describes three separate riding areas on the site - a large sidecar speedway oval plus a micro and a maxi motocross track, which run at staggered times so they do not clash. The club had around 45 members at that point; on that Saturday, according to training leader Lars Jensen, roughly 18 visiting riders turned up, from a three-year-old to a competition rider. The club publishes no fees online. Crossbladet describes the ground as properly sandy but explicitly not beach sand - rather a heavy kind of sand that turns hard in places. Heavy sand builds ruts, moves the line from lap to lap and lets the rear go its own way under power. Top of our cause list for sand is a rear that pogos and swims in the deep stuff, and the strongest cause behind it is rebound set too fast: slow it down so the rear stops building itself up, before you touch anything else.
