Before 2013 this was disused farmland and a fly-tipping site. Then a group of motorsport enthusiasts formed around Sebastian Kałużny, submitted its first grant application in 2014 as an informal group and received 6,000 złoty - and out of that came the Gaworzyce track. From 2014 to 2020 the Moto-Piknik ran here every year; in 2017 it hosted the Western Poland Zone motocross championship. The ground is half sandy, half hard; the track is described as well prepared, technical and safe, and there is a children's circuit and a motocross school alongside it. Since 1 May 2023 the venue has been run by the Cross Team Zielona Góra club; it opens daily from 09:00 to 17:00, and the track is groomed every Friday. Remember the Friday. On a half-sand, half-hard track, how long it has been since the last grooming makes more difference than the time of day. On technical ground it is the engine that catches people out: it stalls in the tight section. First item on our cause list is a dragging clutch or a light flywheel - a flywheel weight or a properly sorted clutch pack fixes it.
