Desoto Motorsport Park sits at 673 W Industrial Park Drive in Grand Cane, Louisiana. The operator publishes individual practice days rather than a fixed weekly schedule: on bike practice days the MX track, the mini track and the trails are open together, scheduled from 8am to 3pm, while side-by-sides get separate slots from 10am to 1pm. The access rule is stated outright on the site: call before you haul. The park lists its own phone number for that and pushes schedule changes over WhatsApp as well, so riders who sign up get the updates directly. For events such as the RedNeck Derby in mid-August, RV spots with hook-up can be booked in advance. Entry or riding fees are not published; our record holds a track length of around 1931 metres. Our record also has clay as the surface, with a tight layout and jumps. Ground like that keeps the shape you ride into it: what is a flat line in the morning is a deep rut by the afternoon, and that is exactly where the front loses its composure - it knifes in and steers further than you asked for. Top of our cause list is a fork that is too soft, riding too low and folding into the rut: add compression at the front before you start working on your riding.
