The motocross track near Crespano del Grappa in the province of Treviso is run by Moto Club Ardosa; the track directory mxcenter.it lists it as "Crespano Del Grappa - Rosset - Ardosa". It measures 1600 metres, has an earth surface and carries FMI homologation in category 3. According to the directory you may only ride with a valid FMI licence or membership, and exhaust limits of 109 dB/A up to 125 cc and 112 dB/A above that apply. The site has a minicross track, a bar, cold showers and 220 volt outlets, but no floodlighting. Fixed training hours are not published: for the schedule the directory points at the club itself, which is reachable through an office and several named contacts. The club is based on Via Asolana in Crespano del Grappa, and its own club page so far gives only the address and contact details, with the calendar announced as coming soon. An earth surface at the foot of Monte Grappa means the ground works with you and against you: under load it cuts itself into ruts and leaves edges standing in the corners, and the front wheel will either follow them or take over. Our own record has this track down as loamy, technical and with jumps. If your front wheel knifes into a worn rut and steering stops being your decision, top of our cause list is a fork sitting too deep in its travel - add a few clicks of front compression so the front stays higher and the rut no longer picks the line for you.
