Motocross has been ridden at Vidreres on the Costa Brava since 1978 - the course sits in the middle of woodland and is among the longest continuously running venues in the province of Girona. The layout grew naturally and sits at intermediate level; the operator itself describes the terrain as a mixture of hard and soft, which tells you more about tyre choice than any single category label. The opening window is narrow and worth taking seriously: riding runs from 9:30am to 2pm, and the venue closes for July and August. A session costs 20 euros, there are toilets and a bar - but no wash bay and no timing system. If you want to see your lap times, bring your own kit. On the hard sections the usual issue gets you first: the front feels vague and finds no grip, especially in the flat woodland corners with no berm. First on our list is too much front pressure - drop it and the tyre gets the area it needs on slick ground.
