The Bartenheim venue in southern Alsace sits right next to the A35 Mulhouse-Basel motorway at the Bartenheim exit and is run, according to the track directory mxcircuit.fr, by the Moto-Club des 3 Lys from Saint-Louis, with Jean-Paul Higy named as the person in charge. The track measures 1,700 metres by 6 metres wide and is dirt. Riding is on Wednesday afternoons plus Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 9 am to 12:30 pm and from 2 pm to 7 pm. A day costs 15 euros with an FFM licence and 20 euros with another licence, an annual pass 100 or 200 euros respectively; Swiss francs are accepted. Toilets and showers are free, the wash bay costs 5 euros extra if you bring your own pressure washer. A riding school covers children from age 6 and adults, with equipment provided. Quads are permitted alongside motorcycles, and the club asks you to check on its homepage whether the track is open before you set off. 1,700 metres at 6 metres wide allows long, quick sweepers, and that is where you notice first whether the balance is right.
