Cheddar Motopark sits at Head Farm near Cheddar in Somerset. The track directories mototalk.co.uk and Moto Track Guide list three circuits on the site: the main adult track plus two smaller ones for kids. The main track is described as a red clay surface, and the layout as fast, with plenty of jumps, off cambers and technical sections. It is graded regularly, and riding groups are split according to how many riders turn up. There are no fixed opening hours: both sources point to the operator's Facebook page for dates and advise calling ahead before you travel. Entry fees are deliberately not published because they change often. On site you will find toilets, a catering van, the pit area and a motocross shop. Off camber means the corner falls away from you, there is no berm holding you, and the front wheel does all the work. That is where dry clay lets go first. If the front pushes away in those flat cross-slope corners, top of our cause list is a fork that is too firm and rides too high, so it never gets any front bite - open the compression a few clicks.
