The Schottenring in the Vogelsberg is looked after by MSC Rund um Schotten, a club with a century of tradition - founded in 1925. The course is fast and technical, with off-camber sections, and retains the character of a grown natural circuit to this day. Riding happens not in open practice but within events: the Historic Grand Prix is the best-known date, joined by a hillclimb. The club publishes its track and camping plans before each season, and entries open in spring.
