Track details
Dry loam is the ideal case: grippy, forms lines and forgives mistakes.
After rain loam turns heavy and sticky - knobs pack up and the bike feels noticeably heavier.

Three tracks on around 40 acres near Albertville, Alabama: an outdoor motocross track, a semi-supercross course and a pro supercross layout. The main track runs a good two kilometres over natural terrain with real elevation change - plenty of small and large jumps, berms almost everywhere, a few trees in between. The showpiece is a step-up with roughly 35 feet of elevation and over 100 feet of total distance, plus two quad sections of about 100 feet each. The ground is loamy with a little sand and explicitly low on dust - grippy going, and that is what to pick your tyre for. The rest is quickly told: 20 dollars a rider, no separate gate fee, open weekends weather permitting, with the emphasis on the winter season. Calling before you load is not politeness here, it is required. You can camp on site, but only in the developed sites. Quads are allowed, side-by-sides are not. And when you call, do not only ask whether they are open - ask which of the three tracks is being prepped. Riding a supercross layout on a day you turned up set up for outdoor is time thrown away.
Track condition today
Loam at 15 °C, no rain right now - good conditions to ride.
