Track details
Dry sand gets deep and physical - the front wants to knife in; traction comes from throttle and the rear suspension.
Damp sand hooks up and gets faster - more grip, but heavier, blunt braking zones.

Parco Cross Serrenti lies in the Is Coras locality near Serrenti in Sardinia's Medio Campidano. The track directory mxcenter.it lists it as a category 3 venue with FMI and ASI homologation, 1340 metres long, on a surface of earth and sand, with a minicross loop of its own. Facilities include cold and hot showers plus 220-volt outlets; there is no bar and no floodlighting. The directory says the track is open every day, with the note to check availability before setting off. Access is via the SS 131, exit Serrenti-Samassi at kilometre 33 towards Samassi, then roughly one kilometre of unpaved road. The operators also offer a transfer from Cagliari-Elmas airport together with bike rental and accommodation, which makes the place workable without your own van. The sand content reshapes the track over the course of a day: the rear digs in, the straights build whoops, and the suspension works against you as soon as it extends again too quickly. Top of our cause list here is rebound that is too fast for sand - slow it down by a few clicks so the rear stops pogoing.
