Oak Hill Raceway

Oak Hill Raceway sits on County Road 1270 near Alvord in North Texas and has been running since 1975 by its own account, so for more than forty years. Seven separate tracks share the property, among them a national track and a professionally built amateur supercross course. Practice runs as scheduled sessions, most recently from 9:00 to 14:00 each time, and the operator explicitly asks you to call before you haul. Sanctioned events require an AMA membership, and the release form, available online beforehand, is mandatory. The 2026 calendar carries the AMA Texas State Championship Series for the Central Region in August and the third running of the AMA Texas State Amateur Supercross Championship in September. RV spots can be reserved, a parking map is published, and the facility also offers a training programme. The site names no gate fees. A supercross course and a national track on one property mean many jumps and many landings in short succession, and that is exactly where you find out whether your rear stays calm. When the bike kicks off a jump face, top of our cause list is rebound returning too fast and launching the rear: slow it down, so turn a few clicks back in.
