Nybøl Motocrossstrecke

The track at Nyboel not far from Sonderborg is run by Sonderborg Motor Club and is known in the Danish scene simply as the Nyboel banen. The club is a fixture in the race calendar: Crossbladet reported from the 2023 Klub GP at the site, and on Saturday 30 August 2025 the club hosted the Danish B championship there, including the Junior 125 class. Before events like that the track is specially prepared and watered; at the last training session a week earlier, Crossbladet noted riders coming from both nearby and further afield. Alongside open practice the club also runs coached sessions: for the training weekend on 11 and 12 May 2024 Thomas Kjer Olsen, Jonas Larsen and Kasper Jensen were on hand as instructors, covering technique, starts, line choice and machine setup; a place cost 950 kroner. There is no reliable public figure for the track length or for the exact ground; our record lists a mixed surface. What you do have to plan for is registration: places on these training weekends are deliberately limited so that only a few riders fall to each instructor, and the club settles payment only after you have signed up. So book before you travel rather than turning up and hoping.
