Broby Motocross Klub

Broby Moto Cross Klub on Fyn describes itself as the place where people meet and have a good time. Training runs regularly on Tuesday evenings from 17:15 to 20:00, by registration but without a cap on numbers. According to the club you may only ride if you are a member of the Danish DMU: 600 kroner a year for the regular membership and for the second-club variant Klub 2, 100 kroner for a supporter membership. On top of that comes a DMU licence, priced between 700 and 2,000 kroner depending on age and available at half price from 1 August; an introductory licence covering training and racing costs 700 kroner. Race fees are charged only for the days you actually start on. Late entry within three days of an event costs an extra 100 kroner, and a rental transponder also costs 100 kroner. The facility includes a clubhouse with a kitchen, benches and picnic tables outdoors and a dedicated micro and children's track; shipping containers are currently being added for storage. The club runs a club championship and rounds of the regional Fyns Cup series. Our own record has a mixed surface at roughly 25 metres of altitude; the track length is not publicly documented. Because regular riding here happens on a single weekday evening and requires registration, this is not a place for a spontaneous stop-off. Register for the Tuesday session before you travel and block the evening out as a fixed appointment - the federation membership and licence have to be sorted beforehand anyway.
