MSC Kranichfeld - Motorcrossstrecke

An old quarry near Rittersdorf, run by MSC Kranichfeld e.V. with a good 30 active members - and with an unusually open admission policy by German standards: alongside motocross bikes, quads and sidecar outfits are allowed on track. Anyone who has ever sat behind an outfit in a berm knows that this paces a training day differently from a solo-only field. Opening is Wednesday from 15:00 to 19:00 and Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00 with an hour's lunch break. The layout was reworked in 2022. There is a separate children's track, ridden under parental supervision. Two things before you set off: the liability waiver and the track rules are published by the club as documents - read them before you are standing at the gate. And there is a winter break the club observes, so the season does not run year-round. Once a year the site also belongs to a stock car race; the next one is set for 5 and 6 September 2026.
