Dalecin is a jump track for riders who know what they are doing. The Czech portal MX trate lists 1700 metres on roughly 70 per cent loam and 30 per cent sand, and praises the shaping above all: the jumps are cleanly formed and, more importantly, safely built. Which is also why the portal carries a blunt line - this lap is not for hobby riders. Not because they could not get round, but because they end up in the way and risk a fast rider landing on them. The sand share makes the ground more yielding than pure loam: it forgives landings but also swallows travel and energy.
