MC Bernauer Schleife was founded in 1958 - originally to organise the races on the Bernauer Schleife that gave it its name. That era is history; today the training ground lies at Schoenfeld near Beiersdorf-Freudenberg and serves as a meeting point for motocross and enduro riders. The club has deliberately strengthened itself with young members in recent years, and that shows on a site: where there are juniors, the track gets looked after. The ground is sand and the lap is technically laid out.
