Campogalliano

The Campogalliano track near Modena is run by Motoclub Campogalliano; the club gives its address as Via Vandelli 1, which puts it about a kilometre from the A22 Brennero-Modena exit. The track directory mxcenter.it lists the circuit at 1,300 metres on dirt with a category 3 homologation through FMI and UISP. It is open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. The club does not publish the exact hours on its own site and points to its Facebook page for them instead. For infrastructure the club names a bike wash, showers, toilets and a camper parking area with a water supply; the directory adds a bar, but neither 220 volt outlets nor floodlights. Our record holds a technical character for it: a lap that asks for concentration over its full length and gives you almost no section to rest in. That hits the forearms first, and if your hands pump up after a few laps, our main cause is not the suspension but the grip - you are holding on too tightly. Ride loose from a centred attack position, light hands and heavy feet, and the forearms stay usable for longer.
