The motocross track on Chemin des Lavieres in Liffol-le-Grand is run by the club Liffol Moto Verte; the listed contact is club president Quinot with a landline number. The track directory mxcircuit.fr gives the course as 1700 metres long and 6 metres wide. Only motorcycles are allowed and the discipline is motocross. There are no published opening hours - instead the directory states the rule that you call before you travel, and it quotes 5 euros for a riding day. Nothing is documented about licence requirements, a childrens track or sanitary facilities; if you depend on any of those, settle it in the same phone call. On our side Liffol is recorded as a technical course, and the narrow width fits that: you have few line choices, you spend a lot of time leaned over, and you reset the bike between corners again and again. Here you gain time on corner entry, not on the straight. If the bike will not hold the tight line and runs wide, top of our cause list is rear ride height: with the rear sitting too low the steering turns lazy. Raise it, or drop the front, and the front wheel will turn in far more willingly.
