Competition is the rule here rather than the exception: the Moselle Moto-Club ground on the Rue du Fort in Rozerieulles hosts the Ligue Grand Est motocross championship, the Trophee Alsace-Lorraine and the Grand Est trophy for sidecarcross and quads. The site lies on the D603 between Rozerieulles and Gravelotte and has been in use since the late 1960s. The ground is earth, and bikes, quads and sidecars are all permitted. It opens Saturday and Sunday; a day costs 8 euros and an annual pass 33, with an FFM licence required. The venue is listed as accessible for people with reduced mobility. A track that regularly sees sidecars tells you something about its layout: berms and corner radii have to be wider than on a solo-only circuit. For you that means more line choice in the corners than you will assume on the first few laps - try the outside. The problem waiting in worn ruts: the front knifes and oversteers. First on our list is a fork that is too soft and rides too low; add compression.
