Stropkov is not a pure motocross venue, and you should know that before you load the trailer: the site belongs to Enduro Club Stropkov and is a fixed stop on the Cassovia Cup, which Enduro Team Košice has been running for over a decade - rounds were held here every year from 2021 to 2025. The race course combines a motocross part of around 1800 metres with a forest section of roughly 2000 metres. How long the motocross course alone is in normal practice use is not something the sources give up, so we record no track length. A place that combines motocross and forest demands a decision on tyres and gearing. What works in the open part is too long in the woods - and the other way round just as much. Ride the first lap deliberately to look, then decide, instead of guessing beforehand. In the tight part this is what catches most riders: the engine stalls in the technical section. Top of our cause list is a dragging clutch or a light flywheel - a flywheel weight or a properly sorted clutch pack fixes it.
