Deep sand, a few kilometres north of Bremervoerde: Motodrom Langeln sits at Hauptstrasse 1 in 21769 Hollnseth and makes no secret of being demanding. The sand is deep and the course rides accordingly, and riders coming off loam regularly underestimate on their first visit how much a single lap costs them. It is open Wednesday from 14:00 to 18:00 and Saturday from 09:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 18:00; Sundays and public holidays are closed. There is a separate children's track, so the youngest riders do not have to share the layout with the big machines. The problem that catches you first in deep sand: the rear pogos and swims instead of driving forward. Top of our cause list is a rear rebound set too fast - slow it down, fewer clicks out, and the back end stops building up its own rhythm. Do that before the first session, not after the third lap when your arms are already gone.
