MCC-Weilerswist e. V. runs the site near Weilerswist and describes a broad programme on the club page: guest training, club races that guests may enter, MX courses, and taster courses split into one for children up to 12 and one for beginners from 12 years upwards. Alongside the main track there is a dedicated children's track. One rule is stated explicitly by the club: motocross goggles with tear-offs are banned for members and guests alike, both in training and at events. For short-notice changes the club points to its own app. Training times and fees are not published on the freely accessible front page; our record holds a track length of 1275 metres on sandy ground with jumps and elevation change. Sand with elevation change means working the throttle and a rear that travels a long way: the ground gives, the shock pumps, and in rutted sections the bike starts to build up an oscillation. If the rear pogos or swims in the deep sand, top of our cause list is rebound that is too fast for sand at the shock - slow it down so the movement stops feeding itself.
