Kolding Motocross Klub, KMCK for short, sits at Profilvej 8 in 6000 Kolding. The club describes its site as two motocross tracks in hilly terrain with many different soil types, plus a trial track, a pitbike track and an enduro course. Riding is split into clearly separated classes: Micro for children aged three to six on 50cc, Micro and Mini C and B from four to 15 years - girls up to 17 - on 50cc to 85cc, and Maxi C, B and A from 13 years on 125cc and larger. Guest riders pay 135 kroner for Mini and Maxi and 67 kroner for Micro and Trial according to the club, and registration is digital through the club system. Current training times are posted in the club's Facebook group; within a session Mini and Maxi C run from the hour to 25 past, Maxi B and A from half past to five past. In the paddock the rules are: roll in neutral only, use an environmental mat, be at your flag post on time. Hilly terrain means climbs under load, and that is where it is decided whether you put the drive down or spin the rear. The most frequent cause on our list is too much rear tyre pressure, which shrinks the contact patch. Lower it - easy to do with a mousse - and the rear finds grip on the climb again.
