The Sachsenhausen motorsport club was founded on 6 March 1952 and has carried its present name since 1964 - an ADAC Hessen-Thueringen local club with a marked focus on developing juniors. The supermoto circuit measures 1000 metres of asphalt. Supermoto on a short lap is the hardest school for braking points there is: you haul down from high speed to walking pace and have to keep the bike stable doing it - master that and you ride better on the road too.
