Endurogelände Langensteinbach

The Endurogelaende Langensteinbach is run by Motorsportvereinigung Chemnitzer Land e. V. im DMV, which appears on its own site as MCL Burgstaedt and is based at Herrenstrasse 4 in 09217 Burgstaedt. The club places the Langensteinbach/Wernsdorf site directly on the B95 between Chemnitz and Leipzig, just past the B95/B175 junction near Penig. It has around 80 members aged from 7 to over 60 and meets on Thursdays from 5 pm at the clubhouse. Day tickets for the site are arranged by phone on 0162 4911631; riders have to accept the usage rules and sign a liability waiver, and checks can happen at any time. Members train free of charge at the Kiesgrube Wernsdorf II site. Each year the club runs at least one kart race and two enduro events, among them a 24-hour enduro at Whitsun and the SOC autumn race. Track length and ground are not publicly documented; our own record holds a mixed surface at roughly 245 metres altitude. A site whose access runs through a day ticket bought over the phone and a signed waiver is not somewhere you drop in on a whim: call before you travel and settle the day ticket and the usage rules, or you will be standing at the gate.
