Rougsoe Cross Klub sits on Oersted Kaervej in Oersted, eastern Jutland, and describes itself as a small club where everyone is welcome regardless of level and age. The site has three tracks: a small track, a large junior track and the large track. Training times change four times a year. In March riding is on Sundays from 11.15 to 14.45; from April to the end of September on Tuesdays from 16.00 to 19.00 and Saturdays from 10.00 to 13.30; from October to early November Tuesdays stay at 16.00 to 19.00 while Saturdays move to 12.30 to 16.00; and from November to the end of February only the Saturday slot from 10.00 to 14.00 remains. Non-members need a valid licence and pay, per the club, 50.00 kroner for the small track and 150.00 kroner for the large one. Weeks 27, 28 and 30 are the summer break and week 29 belongs to the training camp. The club also runs an annual cross camp with camping for families. Our records hold a mixed surface at only about 3 metres above sea level. The calendar matters more here than any clicker work: the times shift with the season, operations stop entirely for three weeks in summer, and the club states outright that changes to the training schedule are published on its Facebook page - check there before you set off.
