Motocross-Strecke Plaidt

The Plaidt motocross track belongs to Motocross Club Plaidt e.V., which organises riding itself through the club. The local paper Blick aktuell has described two training days on the club's own track. At a training day in June 2015, eighteen members were on the site from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.: first a track walk and briefing, then a warm-up session in full kit, free practice and afterwards a split into two groups by ability - led by Marcus Schiffer, team world champion in 2012, and former professional Nils Gehrke as assistant coach. At a further course, ex world championship rider Collin Dugmore taught sixteen members of all age groups cornering and jumping technique; before the start, water had to be pumped off the track because of heavy rain. Track length, surface and fixed practice hours are not publicly documented. What that tells you: riding at Plaidt runs on scheduled club dates rather than open opening hours, and the reports show the track has to be prepared after heavy rain before anyone rides at all. So contact the club before you travel and ask whether the track runs on your day and whether guests are admitted.
