The MSC Blankenhain e.V. runs its site at the Bombenberg north of Egendorf, and it works to a fixed weekly rhythm rather than open gates. Training is Tuesday and Wednesday from 16:00 to 20:00 plus Saturday from 09:00 to 12:00, and the training fee is 15 euros. Saturday therefore gives you three hours: ration them, and do not burn them in the first half hour. Next to the cross track the club has opened its own supercross layout for training, and once a year the site hosts the Blankenhainer Motocross, run for the 30th time in 2022 - a club with race history, not a field with a few bumps. The surface is hardpack, and hardpack takes the front away from you first. The problem that catches nearly everyone here: the front feels vague and short of grip. Top of our cause list for that is too much front tyre pressure - lower it and you simply put more rubber on the hard ground.
