Between Opatowice and Borów, south of Wrocław, lies one of the few legal motocross courses within a hundred kilometres of the city - regional round-ups name it in the same breath as Brzeg Opolski, Grodków and Ziębice. The Moto Flow riding school runs its group sessions for intermediate and advanced riders here. The European track directory records sand as the ground and 147 metres as the altitude; no fixed opening hours are documented, it runs through direct contact with the operator. When you ride jumps on sand, the face changes over the course of the day. What was a clean ramp in the morning is rutted out by the afternoon and throws you differently. Re-check the take-offs after every break instead of trusting a feeling from two hours ago. The classic problem at a jump face: the bike kicks instead of leaving cleanly. First on our cause list is rear rebound set too fast - it launches the rear off the lip; slow it down.
